The Nibcode Memorize installer does not contain any form of adwares, spywares, viruses, trojans or backdoors; nevertheless, when running it on Windows 8 or Windows 10 machines, you may come across the message "Windows protected your PC". It's a built-in security feature designed to help protect your PC from running certain apps that are either known to be malicious or unrecognized by the Microsoft's database of popular Windows software.
The software installer is classed as an unknown application, because Windows SmartScan does not yet know about Nibcode Memorize, and is in these cases, when SmartScreen can go from helpful to annoying, avoiding us to install secured applications, just because Windows doesn't recognize them.
You will see a window appear like the one below, warning you that "Windows protected your PC".
The issue is that there appears to be only one choice when faced with this warning, "Don't run", but when you are completely sure that the app is safe and was obtained from a trustworthy source, there's a quick way to workaround for this. On the warning screen, you can just find and click on the "More info" text, and this will reveal some new information and options.
You will see the filename of the installer and the app's publisher, in this case, "Unknown publisher", because Nibcode Solutions is not yet recognized by Microsoft, but this doesn't mean our installers are dangerous. You will also notice a new "Run anyway" button at the bottom of the window. Just click it to finishing bypassing Windows Defender SmartScreen.
You can find more information about Windows Defender SmartScreen here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/windows-defender-smartscreen/windows-defender-smartscreen-overview
Note that, as the installer requires admin privileges, you need to approve it via the familiar User Account Control interface.
Just click on the "Yes" button and you can start the installation process of Nibcode Memorize.
